This is my 1975 Cadillac Superior Ambulance.  It was originally owned by the Transit Fire Co. of East Amherst, NY.  I purchased it in October of 1998.

What do you think of Cadillac Ambulances
the best ride on earth
great cars
pretty good
not bad
looks like a hearse with a big top
Get rid of it

This photo was taken shortly after the car arrived in Essexville.  The trip was 800 miles, and without a problem.
The rear has two attendant seats with a bandage cabinet between.  A Rico suction unit is mounted to the top of the cabinet.
There is additional storage under each seat.  A large oxygen tank is also stored beneath the seats, which supplies the piped oxygen system.
Inside, the rear has 54" of room from floor to ceiling.
It has one stretcher however, can transport up to four patients lying down.  There are retractable hooks in the roof, from which two portable patient litters may be hung.  An additional patient can be placed on the bench.
